Here's the layout for my April edition of 12 of 12. I've decided, since I've come full circle doing this challenge for a year, this will be my last entry for this challenge. It's been a lot of fun and has helped me develop my photography skills. Thanks again to wonderful Susan, for hosting the 12 of 12 challenge!

I spot colored most of the pictures and what I couldn't spot color, I just made the pictures b&w (except for the clock & heart-shaped popcorn shrimp). :)

Today is January 12th...

**Update #2 on 2/2/09: I (finally) got my January edition of 12 of 12 finished. I kept putting off the sewing part of it. I hadn't sewn on a layout before and I was anticipating having a hard time so I procrastinated. Just keepin' it real. ;) I know alot of people have been sewing on layouts for years but I just never tried. Well, I did last night, practiced first on a different sheet of cardstock and come to find out it was so easy & quick! Why had I waited so long?! LOL So, in a matter of minutes, I had my layout sewn and written on. Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!

It's time for the 12-of-12 challenge! Take pictures of your day today then select twelve. As Susan of the 12-of-12 blog says, do your choosing quickly, be ruthless! But, only twelve photos and one of those twelve must be a self-portrait. Then put them together in a layout (simple or elaborate but do it quickly)...then load your page up to either your personal blog, a message board site, a photo hosting gallery OR just snap a picture of it. Today is/was the 12th of the month and that means '12 of 12'! I forgot to post this at the beginning of the day, in case anyone reading this was interested in participating. Sorry :) If you'd like to participate, it isn't too late. If you took pictures today, pick 12 and put them on a layout page. Doesn't have to be fancy. A little journaling about what's going on in each picture is nice so you can look back at it months (years?) from now and you'll know what you did (or didn't do) on this day. Then, share your 12 of 12 over at the 12 of 12 blog - click here, and post a link in the comments. :)

Journaling (click on image for larger view): 1.Every morning we give Gigi a drink from the tub faucet. 2. Drove the kids to school on a rainy morning. 3. Read through decor books I got from the library. 4. Went to daughter's school for SEOP conference. 5. Did some grocery shopping & got a great parking spot! 6. Took son to pick up his copy of the new Banjo Kazooie game. 7. Took funny pictures of the kids w/cell phone camera. 8. Self-portrait: HI! 9. Had hot cocoa with daughter. 10. Made penne bake for dinner. 11. Took less than $20 to fill up gas tank today! 12. Watched the CMA's - Kenny Chesney won Entertainer of the Year.

My 12 of 12 for May 12th...

1. Power went out in the morning; 2. did dishes; 3. folded laundry; 4. took a nap :) 5. got shakes afterschool with kids; 6. dyed a shirt for H; 7. self-portrait!; 8. H & I chased the sunset to take pictures; 9. Searched for digital scrapbooking freebies; 10. discovered a water problem late at night; 11. went through some new pictures I got from Snapfish.com; 12. went to bed after 1am.
